Getting a better picture.

Augmenting, defining itself larger than life in the oxford dictionary, has took its place between the digital world and human beings comfortably and expanding its wings to all the things that were impossible back to few centuries ago.

"Take a real-life scene, or (better) a video of a scene, and add some sort of explanatory data to it so that you can better understand what's going on, or who the people in the scene are, or how to get to where you want to go" , quote Charles Arthur from The Observer, Sunday 21 March 2010. He describes the concept as straightforward and its existence has been around for quite some time before it trips around the technologists' lips.

To better understand the meaning of Augmented Reality(AR), a good example would be sports on the television.
Ever realise how penalties in footballs, replay of a certain shots, and even a challenge in tennis requires slow motion to enable the spectators a clear and fair view of that particular moment? Those motion of pictures readers require the very existence of Augmented Reality application :)
